There are two head designs, a 460cc and a 430cc → The 460cc helps with slightly more control with the weight shifted for a higher MOI → The 430cc is the best head for managing high speed for the stronger hitters.
→ Set the hosel to HIGHER to CLOSE the head to help fight that dreaded slice.
The adjustable hosel can increase the pitch on the effective loft when you Lower or Higher the setting.
There’s always a downside to over manipulation of spin especially when there is a reduction in back-spin as the ball can be harder to keep straight.
Off centre hits from the M1 Driver can create a larger amount of off-plane spin.
When this is lined up with the back (RED weight) as it keeps the head better “balanced” This position helps with launch and also makes the ball “feel” better off the face.
The back weight actually works best, either in the LOW position or the HIGH position.
→ The use of a launch monitor and different shaft options to align the head and get the best numbers is critical.
→ It’s a very complicated piece of technology and requires a certain level of understanding of how to manipulate it to get the best from the golfer through the head and weight settings.
The process is from custom fit to custom build, no misinterpretation of the specifications.
